Why choose ceremony...

We, as humans, everywhere in the world, come from a long lineage of ancestors who built their lives upon the pivotal points of sacred ceremony, they acted as milestones and sign posts, honouring the multitude of journey's we go through, both the sublime and the heart-wrenching. It is in the ceremonial space that we are able to fully open, receive, let go, become, shed and connect.
Some cultures today still thoroughly honour these passages, many sadly, do not. Many peoples have forgotten what this means for our lives, but our bones remember.

Ceremony and ritual creates a space that surpasses the boundaries we perceive as obstacles to growth and healing, such as time and space. It reaches deep into the heart and soul, into past generations and out into future ones. This space and opening is a potent place for remembering who we are, what is our purpose and how to align ourselves to that. Be that for ourselves, with a partner, in our family or wider community.

All of my ceremonies are completely bespoke and unique to the wishes of my clients. We will discuss your wants in detail to ensure you receive the ceremony most in alignment for you.
I offer a sliding scale pricing system for all my ceremonies as an extension of my wish to be of service to everyone. If you need to negotiate further, please contact me.

I adore creating wedding and relationship blessing ceremonies – it is a great honour to be given a glimpse into the journey of love between people. This process roots me firmly in the embrace of love and it is from here that I hold the container that honours the union of the couple.
These ceremonies may be conducted with a traditional wedding structure or may be as alternative as wished for; there are very little restrictions here. It is my wish to provide you with the ceremony that best serves your heart and greatest joy.
As an Interfaith Minister, I aim to serve ceremonies that bridge gaps across faith paths should this be called for, it is possible to honour different lineages and traditions within one ceremony.

Funerals
To honour the life journey of someone is a great treasure of mine. I regard the process of funerals and memorials with a deep reverence.
These ceremonies are the containers to share in grief, love and celebration of the person whose passed over and gather our strength in community. Grief is not meant to be carried alone, it is a powerful healing current that finds its grace in being shared.
These ceremonies create the opening to releasing stored/accumulating grief, they design the opportunity to say goodbye in a held and personal format, they touch our cherished moments, memories and gratitude, calling on the presence of love to sooth and tend to sorrow, they celebrate and lean into the joy of knowing that person in this lifetime.
We will be able to create a special and unique ceremony most suited to the deceased and those attending the service.
These can be held in the church, crematorium or private space.

Family/Mother/Father/Baby Blessings
Entering parenthood is an immense rite of passage - this is a transformation on every level.
Marking this initiation in ceremony helps to prepare the mind, heart and soul for the profound change taking place, it signifies to the all layers of the person that a major threshold is about to, or has, been crossed. This guides all the moving parts to slot into place, creating a free-flow of intention and energy into the new phase of life's journey.
These ceremonies can be done for one or both parents together or individually.
The ceremony can be for the family; blessing and welcoming this new family into the world, with the witness of loved ones or in private.
Baby blessings can be done for one child or several in the same ceremony. They can be for new-borns or at any age as ceremony does not conform to the timelines humans define life by. These ceremonies are specifically designed to welcome the being/s into the manifest world, welcoming their spirit as fully human and fully divine, anchoring them in the love and joy of the family. This is really a ceremony of affirmation and rooting in their blossoming life, I feel that it sets the energetic stage for the life of the child to emerge and unfold with tremendous reverence and gratitude, this energy and influence they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Passage-Of-Rite/Threshold Ceremonies
Milestone Birthdays – we are constantly crossing thresholds and passing through initiatory phases, we often recognise these in the milestone birthdays which we ritualise often in a some kind of celebration. To honour these in ceremony is a beautiful way to dig deeply into the understanding of what it is we have moved through since the last milestone and where it is we choose to go in the space between now and the next. These can be done within the container of friends and family or privately.

Passage-of-rites Ceremonies – for teenagers or adults – in some African cultures, they believe a person cannot step fully into the phase of adulthood without this ceremony, they therefore remain in the realm of the teenage/child mindset until they complete the rite. In the Yoruba tribe they have a saying “without these rituals, the young men will burn the village down just to feel the heat”.

These ceremonies will create the space for the initiate to reach into themselves to find their truest, most connected sense of self, rooting them to Earth and Sky. Through this process they will know their own strength, edges, heart and purpose intimately. This will set them on their soul path forwards in this lifetime.

I also offer Saturn Returns rituals; I would usually create one ceremony to open the initiation and one at its closing roughly 2.5 years later.

DIY Ceremony Mentoring
Are you planning a ritual or ceremony for yourself or a friend? Perhaps you are organising a memorial for a loved one, or you wish to create a passage-of-rite ceremony for your child? If so, you might find a mentoring session useful, to run through structure, possible ideas and ask any questions.
