I offer workshops that weave story, ritual and prayer with a healthy dose of playfulness. Often working with primal sounding and movement, these spaces are designed to drop the participants safely into their wild, connected, sacred, true centre.

Many of my offerings are in honour of the pagan festivals celebrating the turning wheel of the year.

Many of my workshops may be altered to suit a specific theme or event.

Through untouched ancient woodlands we walk, guided by experienced forager and wild woman Hayley, many beings we shall meet along our way - shrubs, flowers, trees...birds, deer and many more! This land has been formed, understood and revered through stories old and new for as long as we can dream. As we encounter some of our native plant folk we shall hear of their stories from professional storyteller Rebecca, we may learn what mischief they get up to without watchful eyes upon them, what help or harm they bring, their origins, their human interactions or their magical backgrounds and adventures.

With Hayley's expert eyes we shall gather delicious plants to brew into a steaming cuppa before we say farewell.

We shall we out walking, talking and listening for 2 hours so please be prepared.

You are invited into this multi-faceted journey that weaves ancient Celtic prayer, modern day folk song, ritual and storytelling into a 60 minute performance centred on one of the stories of the Goddess Lilith. The reclamation of; NO, sacred rage, our own shadow, and our natural wild natures are at the heart of the intention of this telling. Through biographical and mythic tales, laughter and grief, we explore the narratives that have been placed upon us by our own hand or the hand of the “Other”. Dipping into themes of exile, choice, betrayal, twisted narratives, accusation, the Holy, Paradise, tenderness, bliss, unity and more. Its a packed full journey that has continuous layers urging us to peel them back to take us where we REALLY need to go. Audience members have said this story has stayed with them many weeks later. This is a story for our times, Lilith is calling us back to our true natures, free from shame and shackles.

I am simply the channel to share this message through the blessing of Lilith: “Remember who you are, remember why you came, reclaim your true nature, use your voice. We are rising, the time is now.”

In this workshop you will see the performance live, we will integrate as we go through sound and movement and then into an explorative process of how the story impacts you personally, what parts of you rise to meet it and what parts shrink away - why? What messages does Lilith have for you? Are you ready to implement them into your life? You will leave with your first next steps as to how to realign yourself to your beautiful, wild, creative sovereignty, self-empowerment and truth.

Calling In The Light

60 mins.

This workshop weaves the story of Amaterasu (Sun Goddess from Japan), movement, singing, ritual moments and playful celebration. It was originally created to celebrate the Summer Solstice but can be suited to a variety of themes/purposes.

We all move through periods of darkness in life – be that due to the ever changing and cycling of seasonal light, or within ourselves – entering the underworld by choice or necessity. In this piece, we follow Amaterasu – The Shining One – as she guides us, with intuitive knowing and unwavering compassion into the Great Cave of Heaven, to enter a period of challenging but transformative darkness and solitude. Using ritual and play, we move together, embracing our own divinity, to call back the light of the sun Goddess, within and without, accumulating with much celebration. In the original sharing of this ceremony I collaborated with @Jael who provided instrumental healing sounds to accompany the journey.

This piece is ideal to open an event of celebration and joy. It recognises and pays homage to the challenges of life, never shying away from them and at the same time holding the lightness of peace and joy. The more the merrier for this workshop, big groups welcome.

Winter Solstice Gathering 2025

Saturday 20th December 2025 • 1–5pm

Private ancient woodland and indoor space in Rose Hill
£35 (cash preferred) Sliding scale negotiable.
Exact location and details given upon booking

Bookings:
📧 r.rchipping@gmail.com — (www.sacredservice.co.uk)
📧 naturalconnectionsussex@gmail.com — (www.naturalconnectionsussex.org)

You will be guided by Reverend Rebecca Chipping and Hayley Cox, Therapeutic Forest Practitioner.

Together we will hold space and share insights and skills as we settle into the hum and gentle rhythm of Mother Earth, following her descent into deep winter—a time of rest, recalibration, renewal, stillness, dreaming, and nurturing. It is the great exhale before the slow inhale of building energy at Imbolc.

We will gather, as our ancestors have always done, to tend to our inner and outer fires, bringing warmth to our souls, hearts, and bodies. In doing so, we remember what it is to be in communion with Mother Earth and with one another, recognising winter’s gifts—community, connection, hibernation, and deep quiet. Mother Earth and our human natures hold all the wisdom and gifts we need; we need only listen.

During our time together, we will work with a traditional Scottish folktale, The Dream Makers, taking time to rest, reflect, and integrate its teachings through guided inner and collective exercises. We will unravel the specific message the story offers each of us and explore how to activate this wisdom in our daily lives through a personalised take-home practice. The story will guide us into our own dreamtime, where we may begin to dream our personal and collective futures into being.

Hayley will lead a ritual crafting practice. These are gifts you will take home to anchor you into the blessings and magic of winter. She will also guide us through a beautiful Earth candle ritual and, if time allows, a gentle guided walk through the woodland to which we have the honour of being welcomed.
